Metal injection moulding (MIM) is a manufacturing process used for small-to-medium-shaped precision components. This chapter provides a detailed overview of MIM and includes descriptions of the principles of the process such as powders, binders, mixing and feedstock analysis, injection moulding, binder removal (debinding), sintering and post-sintering.
